Recorded as a demo in a bathroom in 2015, Days Light was resurrected during quarantine then more officially tracked with the help of Ryan Wolfskill and Lucas Gienow in the Fall of 2020.

Lyrics:

I woke up to nothin' but static on the radio
Hissing past me, crying with its childish whine
It blamed everything and moved on

At half past noon I rose and realized I was late so I
Grabbed all my things and started for the gate
As I twisted the doorknob a voice from somewhere 'hind me spoke, it said

"Living this way aint the same as living a life without shame"
So i sat and related everything of which I owe
Just in time for your entrance and the stubbing of your toe
(Things weren't never the same after that)

People'll tell you that they've got the answers man
But they don't know what s going on
Best mind your manners and ignore their banners
and clocks and telephone poles

Red lights and buttons rolling like marbles
Spilling all over the floor
Casting a shadow of the burning in the gallows
Laughing and slamming the door
